I'm Abby Hase, and I am not just an actress, not just a singer, and not just a dancer. I am all these things and more, because at my core, I am a storyteller. You are in the right place if you're looking for a committed artist who has dedicated her life to being the best performer she can be. For me, that means through singing, acting and dancing, I am able to give my audience and fellow performers inspiration, encouragement, and a needed release from reality. My mission is to bring joy and appreciation of life in all its forms to people through theatre. Whether that is in a musical, an operetta, or an impromptu improv sketch, my main goal is to connect with an audience.
I started out a quiet 8 year old kid, who happened to find a voice and confidence through music and theatre. With the aid of MANY devoted piano, flute, voice and acting teachers, I learned how to focus my intense love for my craft through practice, persistence, triumphs, and many failures. My bachelor's and master's degrees were instrumental milestones in my journey learning about myself and becoming a better performer.
Each morning as I wake up, I consider myself one of the lucky ones. Lucky to live in the best city in the world and lucky to fulfill my life long goal every day of being a woking actress in New York.

What an absolute privilege it has been working on the reading of "Chump" a new musical comedy this past week! The show had it's New York premiere last night 9/29/2016 at The Duplex and we had a fantastic audience that came out to support the show. Performing new work is SO important and it was such an honor to work with this incredible cast. A HUGE thank you to our fearless director Nick Leavens, writers Adam Mansbach and Mik Moore, and producer Andy Wagner!
So excited to be singing again with composer and pianist extraordinaire Bill Zeffiro at La Rivista Palatine Resturant in New York City on 8/17/16! Location: 313 W 46th St, New York, NY 10036. Bill is an incredible artist and I'm so thrilled to sing with such an awesome musical partner.
A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support the Manhattan Repertory Theatre and our production of "Men!" We all had such a blast and loved seeing all the laughs happening in the audience.
